Black Emery Stainless Steel Buffing Compound
This black buffing compound is the coarsest available thus it cuts fast and is ideal for removing surface imperfections, small pits, scratches, thin plate, paint, lacquer as well as performing general buffing applications. It’s semi-wet nature means it can be used year-round in most moderate climates (between 45 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit) that do not have high humidity. Although Black Magic is a versatile compound, it truly shines (no pun intended) when cutting stainless steel at a high RPM (between 3,000 and 6,000) using a sisal wheel or orange air way buff for best results. To save you hours of work, we recommend you start most jobs with this compound rather than other less abrasive alternatives. The Black Magic compound provides a great value. Each bar comes standard at a large industrial size: weighing in at approximately 3 pounds and measuring in at approximately 10” long x 2-1/4” wide x 2” tall.
