2" X 72" Sanding Belts for Finishing and Sharpening
Our 2 inch by 72 inch is now available in a premium aluminum oxide belt for superior finishing and sharpening. Aluminum oxide belts are the least expensive belts you can purchase in comparison to Zirconia or Ceramic belts. If you are not looking for fast heavy material removal a Zirconia or Aluminum Oxide belt may suit your needs. Our 2 x 72 premium aluminum oxide belts are best used for finishing and sharpening at the higher grits such as 150, 180, 220, 320, 400 and 600 Grits! We recommend using a Zirconia or Ceramic belt for 36, 60, 80 and 120 grit applications as they are proven to be the best in longevity and productivity. We offer the belt in two different weights to allow you more flexibility in choosing the right belt for your application. In our 2 x 72 belts we have "X" and "J Flex" weight belts available in backing. Weights are rated from stiffness to flexibility with "A" being the most flexible and "Z" being the stiffest. J flex is best used for contouring as the belt well flex to the shape ie wooden handles. As always our 2 x 72 belts are made in the USA for superior quality. Our X weight is available in all grits were as our J Flex is only available in 120 and higher grits.
